Let’s driEV, one of India’s fastest-growing EV rental startups, has achieved another milestone by launching two new community stations within just four days- at Presidency University, Bengaluru, and Sri Sri University, Odisha. With these back-to-back additions, driEV now operates 15 active community stations across three cities, reinforcing its vision of making clean mobility accessible and community-driven.
From its first station in Bhubaneswar in 2020, driEV has grown into a movement that blends sustainable mobility with strong community roots. driEV’s community stations log over 3500+ km of rides daily with 500+ bookings, cutting down emissions and saving significant CO₂. Each station is designed as more than a parking point as it’s a hub for sustainable living, collaboration, and connection.
“Our goal has always been to make electric mobility both affordable and accessible, especially in Tier II cities and campuses where students and young professionals are shaping tomorrow’s choices,” said Ankur B Patel, Co-Founder, Let’s driEV. “Every new station adds to a legacy of communities who ride cleaner, live greener, and share responsibility for the future.”
driEV has been expanding across campuses aligning with initiatives like Net Zero Campus and student-led sustainability movements. Apart from the student-focused communities, driEV also has communities set up at campuses like Vedanta where commute is a concern for working professionals. These partnerships highlight driEV’s commitment to supporting India’s environmental goals while addressing everyday mobility challenges at various levels while also addressing the concerns such as charging downtime through rapid battery-swapping technology with the recent partnership with Honda Activa e: in Bengaluru.
With the 15th community station now live, driEV is already gearing up to launch its next station shortly. The journey ahead is clear: To create not just a network of EV rentals, but a legacy of sustainable communities where commute is never a concern.
